A Registered Nurse, Rowena has completed a Bachelor of Media and Communications and a Masters of Nursing at the University of Sydney. After working as a journalist for many years, Rowena is now a freelance writer and has combined her love of writing with her passion for health care on a national and global level. While studying Rowena gained invaluable experience in hospitals, community health and general practice and developed a particular interest in the political, social and economical issues affecting healthy ageing. Helping consumers to make educated choices, Rowena explores current issues, trends and research in health.
